National Forensic Science Week
September 15 - September 21
Forensic Science Week is a week that recognizes the important role that proper forensic science plays in the investigation of crimes throughout the nation, from exonerating the innocent to identifying the guilty. This week recognizes the scientific and technical professionals that serve our communities in that vital role.
Forensic Science Week is a collaboration between the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, The Major City Chiefs Association, The Major County Sheriff’s of America, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies, and the Consortium of Forensic Science Organizations.
