Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI) is the American subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. A key instrument we offer to the ASCLD community is the GCMS-QP2010 Ultra gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer. The ideal instrument for fast drug screening and determination of trace components, the GCMS-QP2010 Ultra delivers fast data measurement and the ultimate in sensitivity. Patented Advanced Scanning Speed Protocol (ASSP) technology results in a level of sensitivity better than five times that of older instruments, and achieves maximum data acquisition speeds of 20,000 u/sec.

High-speed oven cooling, a twin-line MS system that eliminates the need to swap columns, and the "Easy sTop" Quick changer system improve laboratory productivity, while an ecology mode significantly reduces operating costs.
